Mezzanine; this gem is a rich, dark and extremely potent shot of the ground contents of ambient dance music and Hip Hop. With winter coming, I'm starting to listen to more "Cool" music, stuff that is slick and smooth, not too hard on the ears, stuff that is good for long nights, right after Daylight savings jumps an hour back. So I mean cool to match the weather.

You'd think that I would be more in to "Warm" or "Hot" music when everything is all cold. I thought about switching it, so that the "hot" music warmed me in the cold, and the "cool" music kept me at a reasonable temperature in the summer. It did not work, I'm not sure why, I'm not a scientist, just a new media student. I first "fell in love" with this album while delivering pizza in the winter at Panago Pizza, and it brings me in to a season mood every year.
So as the yuletide season approaches, and we slowly drift in to the southern Alberta season before winter: Lots of cold wind and terrible ice showers. It's going to be fun, I'm really glad I don't deliver pizza anymore. Please treat yourself to this album this christmas if you don't already have it. It's really good, and ten years old, you can usually get it on sale!
